November 2, 201510 yr I tried search but AI is not allowed? So I apologize if this is already done somewhere. Can I just delete the FTX AI? They don't work with Traffic 360, I see they are still in the FSX folder. Thanks Gord
November 3, 201510 yr Moderator You'd be better off turning off the FTX AI in the control panels for the airports you installed that include the AI. However, your question wasn't really specific enough. Which FTX AI do you have installed, the separate AI packs they offer or AI that comes with some of the sceneries? If it's the separate AI pack you could either uninstall it by deleting the traffic bgl and the planes, or just rename the traffic .blg to .off or .bak. If you don't turn off or remove the traffic bgl's and instead just delete the planes, then the traffic bgl's are going to continually be searching for those planes and paints, which can cause other performance problems. Lastly, when you say that the FTX AI doesn't work with Traffic 360, what is the problem with it? They should be able to co-exist as long as they are both using FSX compliant traffic files. November 3, 201510 yr I'd rather use the FTX AI where able, the models are far nicer looking as are the liveries and the schedules are more accurate. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
November 11, 201510 yr Author Dave YVVR -> Agreed, but they don't work with traffic 360. Just greyed out outlines, When I asked about the greyed out issue on Orbx someone said they are incompatible with 360, and that's why they were that way?? cmpbelljsc I installed the freeware FTX AI that was on the Orbx freeware site. I can't recall just now if there was an installer or not, It's not causing any issues I was just trying to clean things up a bit.
