Can't Open Fs2Crew v2.3 P3D V3

Featured Replies

Good evening!

I have a strange issue with my FS2Crew for Airbus X.

First of all thank you for your work, FS2Crew for PMDG 737/777 works perfect.

Unfortunately I can't open main panel in Airbus.

As usual, I start instalation, then in Airbus Configurator I set a tick on Airbus X Voice Control.

In simulator main panel doesn't open..

I went to views--> instrument panels - FS2Crew Main panel, I saw a black window.

According to the instructions, I have deleted prepar3d.cfg, reran simulator and reinstalled Fs2Crew,

after reinstalation problem appeared again...

Could you please help me?

Did you use the P3D V3 install option in the FS2Crew installer?

Or did you try to "migrate" it?

You need to use the P3D V3 install option in the FS2Crew installer.

I didn't migate it, I used P3D v3 option in installer

Try re-installing the Visual Studio 2013 end user runtimes.

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784

Also try re-installing with your anti-virus off.  Sometimes anti-virus program 'eat' required files.

If that doesn't work, send me a Support Ticket via: www.fs2crew.com

Include your panel.cfg file.

Best,

Best,

Unfortunately, after reinstalling libraries nothing changed=(

I've send a support ticket, including my panel cfg in rar file. The system said, that they don't accept .cfg files, so I had to put in in .rar.

Waiting for your help and answer. Thank you!

I have the same issue.   Would appreciate a reply to this thread if you solve the issue.  Thanks!

Please take a look at your panel.cfg file for the Airbus.

in the P3D V3 version, there should not no file path in front of the FS2Crew gauges.

Take a look at one of your panel.cfg's for the Airbus.  You can open them with Notepad.

Look at the FS2Crew gauges at the bottom.

Does the file path look like this (underlined section):

gauge00=FS2Crew2010\Versions\AerosoftAirbusX\Gauges\FS2CrewAirbusVoice!FS2Crew_PAPanel, 0,0,284,500

I have the exactly same issue here. I just sent you a ticket, if somebody already knows the solution please post it here.

Thank you

We solved Javier's issue.

Please do this:

1. Re-install the Airbus aircraft.  This will restore your panel.cfg file to its original, pre-FS2Crew state.

2. Run the "P3D" version of the Aerosoft Config Manager when enabling FS2Crew.  That's critical.

P3D V3 uses its own special and different file paths for the FS2Crew gauges in the panel.cfg file compared to FSX and P3D V2 or V1.

The blank rectangle means the FS2Crew gauge didn't load.   And it didn't load because the file path in the panel.cfg file was wrong for the P3D V3 version.
