I considering taking the plunge and buy the Ariane BBJ. Can I get some feedback from owners regarding fps on a system simiar to mine? The old BBJ's will run great! They are one of the better Ariane planes. I'm sure they will be a lot like the 737-800 and the -300 I have!EDIT: I did not know they have the new VCe BBJ out, it looks sweet! They had real good customer service trying to get the 700VCe to work for me, but I never got it too. The model is superb. The viewpoint thing is awesome!It looks great. The 700 had the performance of the PMDG 747, and was about 3-5FPS less than the PMDG 737.

I own the new BBJ (VC version) and everything is top notch except for the sounds. Everything from the FDE, Avionics, to the Virtual cabin has been done well... Framerates are slightly lower than the default Cessna if that matters. I highly recommend this add-on as it's on the level of PMDG and LDS. PMDG's autopilot has a few more realistic bells and whistles (moving the yoke disconnects whatever axis you moved). PMDG's FMC is easier to manually plot a flight plan where as with Ariane it's best to call up the default flight plan from within the FMC. Get Des Braban's sound set located here in the Avsim library. The only downside to this package is the price...Since PMDG hasn't done the BBJ, Ariane's the only game in town. Ariane has done real justice to the BBJ so it doesn't leave you wanting another developer to come along and do one...
