Just stunned in the 'as real as it gets' nomenclature for XPX.42

Featured Replies

I have amalgamated XPScenery Golden Gate/South Bay, with Mr. X's fabulous KSFO and area scenery. They are now both playing nice in the San Fran Bay sandbox...and with the following also in play:

SkyMaxxPro 3.0

SoundMaxx 1.0

About 10 supportive library's, (who knows what visual element(s) are/is being loaded in from the each of them, lol)

But with all of it....in this outside view of the L1011 at taxi to the active this morning...well folks, (the airport sounds...people, plane engines, jet blast, fly overs, plane movement around me,)  well folks..it really, this morning, doesn't get any more 'real' than what's happening on the screen in XPX.42, and its fabulous supporting cast of players...

Have a great day, folks!

Ses

Thanks, HL.  XPX.42 sure puts it out to the screen.  Having a great time using it.

As real as it gets!!!  I agree, very crisp no blurs. Best screen shots of all sims that is out there in my opinion. This is why I'm really thinking about jumping on the X- Plane X.42 wagon. I understand it is a long learning curve but it will be worth it.

Regards

Not really...not really....but learn, you do, and have a blast in the differences!

I've been about a week-intensive, into choppers...and I can now pretty much hover, rotate in hover...and rubberneck anywhere I want to go...with a good, safe kiss landing at the end.  It took about three crashes, some more coffee, with a slice of apple pie (sugar for the brain), and just fabulous scenery and FPS, like what you see here, and by all that................I think, I pretty well, have the helicopter 'situation' under control, (large smile)  All that,... and a very healthy sense of humor....oh...and of course,... patience!

I killed myself three times, though....so I have 6 chopper lives left...and better hang onto them, LOLOLOLOL!

Question...can you tell, I'm have the time of my life?!?!?!   I bet that you can....

Cheers,

Mitch'er

Mitch'er, I love helo's as well. I am going to order x plane today and get started. How do I go about getting the .42 update? I guess at x plane.org. Can't to start learning and building up my scenery. Yes, I can tell that you are really having fun flying in that photo realistic scenery!!!

Lamar, if you order the discs, or do the download from off of Laminar's site, when you first run XP, it should advise you there is an update, and it will then show you how to update and then keep updating as new BETA's or R.C.'s are released.  You update through the simulator.

There are many free helicopters on X-Plane.org under the DOWNLOAD section.  While you are there, grab some planes as well, to get you started.

The chopper page....

Helicopters are done very well, within XP...and I'm sure you will be thrilled with the purchase.  There is a learning curve, coming off an M.S. based flight sim...but you soon ramp right up to speed, sir.

Mitch and/or Ses...I answer to both :)

Mitch, thanks so much. Looking forward to X Plane and there is a great community within X Plane to ask for advice if needed. Thanks again and keep those great screen shots comming!!
