Hi, Ive used rc4 for many years, and also pilot2atc since it was first released. These programs are like chalk and cheese, totally different, and ir depends on what you want from an atc program. Rc4 is controlled by the program, and only altered in flight by keyboard entry, having to go from menu to menu and picking the selection you want, it is pretty good in its atc capacity giving good instructions, to your destination, with no problems, not brilliant on stars and sids but totally acceptable. Pilot2atc differ,s by letting you talk to atc, thus allowing you to alter things without having to use the keyboard or menus, far more realistic, however, at this time sids and stars are not as good as rc4. I fly without keyboards etc, as have full cockpit setup, sometimes I find it better to let copilot handle atc as I can be to busy with other things so rc4 fits the bill here ( these may be altering in v2) So in my opinion, if you want it more like the real thing get, pilot2atc, if you are happy with keyboard inputs and not having to speak then rc4 is your choice, or like me buy both and use as you want. Ive got most atc programs released like voxatc, proatc, rc4 etc, an only use 2 Proatc and pilot2atc. Yes ive used online atc very real but in my case being hard of hearing I miss a lot, much easier when you can press a key or ask for a repeat of instructions, that asking over and over on online atc The only complaint I have for pilot2atc would be for it to run on network pc., yes ive set it up on my 2nd pc, and it works fine, but my niggle is you have to reregister if I want to change back to 1st pc. Apart from that ive watch this develop over the last couple of years, into a superb software, really looking forward to v2. By the way, ive run this on xplane, fsx, fsxsteam, prepar3dv2 and prepar3dv3 with no problems at all Hope this helps Mike.

Hi In my other post I said I had refunded for this plane,but before doing this I thought I would take a look at the video posted first, and it talked about the 1a update. Now I only bought this software a couple of days ago from flight 1 and assumed it would be uptodate, it wasnt, so I updated, and all I can say now is im in love with this aircraft, with frame rates now on my system of 60 to 150 its wow, most of the niggles I had have been done, so maybe i should have check before i post. My fault, ok im a total dickhead etc. And to ifly sorry for knocking it, although maybe the latest vesrion should be sold and not outdated ones. End result, buy buy but its superb Mhazy

Hi All I can say I asked for refund, reasons lots, as above comments frame rates awfull, , wing bending look like aircraft has shakes, no varation, just shakes up and down on runway, i like ifly stuff but this is not finished product to me by far. Might be ok in another year Mhazy Ps dont start knocking me as this is my opinion, answer wait for pmdg

Hi Imade the changefrom a 780 to the gtx980 around 1month ago Difference for me was superb, better colours and fps especially in xplane. I run fsx Fsx steam Prepar3dv3 Xplane I did a new reinstall for all flight sims as I felt after a few years it would clean them up, but dont think it is a must. My frame rates are around 60 plus for all sims with reasonable settings Gtx980ti I7 4.7 Win7 64bit All the best mike Ps I used 3 screens with triplehead2go I now use projector

Hi Im using a projector now, and it only uses 1080x720 same as a tv, So is there any point in using all the extra settings in flight sims like prepar3d., fsx, xplane Any advice on settings you think I should use, and ones that would not make any difference if used Thanks mike Hi Sorry it s 1280x800 Infocus short throw Gives me 120inch picture so makes you feel your there, but want to get best quality I can from settings and retain highest fps by not using settings I dont need Mike

Hi Just downloaded new textures from world2xplane it blows away anthing ive ever seen. Yep I use fsx se, fs9, prepar3 , but good as they are, did not compare to flying over london in 757 with xplane. I agree theres odd bits need doing, but no more than a lot of addons that are released then have to be updated as they are not working right. Atc is fine with pilot2atc, as good as fsx. What do I fly in most, fsx se, why , because I use prosim with jetmax setup, and prosim does not support xplane yet, otherwise xplane is my choice. As far as study type aircraft go, theres plenty to chose from, and would suggest that a more in depth look and search would be the best thing to do Mhazy

Hi Just installed your scenery............superb!!, Brilliant!!!! Gobsmacking!! Ok I like it, its made such a difference. To start with really did not see much difference, until I deleted all the extras I had installed, just using your software and libaries, and trees and farms the result was oerfect. Frame rate is a bit higher but its worth it. Well done and keep it up Mhazy

Hi Ive cleaned out fsx files etc and registry as suggested, also deleted all fsxse files and registry, so all in all a ckean install of fsxse could be done Ok reinstalled fsxse, and works fine, but on some addons it looks for fsx.cfg in the appdata/roaming/Microsoft/ fsx folder, on reinstall my folders have renamed to fsx-se, so some addons cant find the .cfg its the same for programdata and local files. Now im told that when you do a clean install of fsxse it makes all the folders fsx and not fsx-se is this correct? The only fsx folders I can find are in the steam common where everything has been placed under fsx Hope ive explained ok Anyone help please or can answer my question MhZy

I run just the outside views on 3 screens, and prosim737 on a seperate screen with nd and pfd in a jetmax setup Ok heres what I found FsxSe outside view or vc on any aircraft view very smooth. But prosim instruments have a 4 sec lag then update every four seconds so very glitchy After different tests turning on and off bits an bobs I found that it seem to be updating to steam every 4 seconds During the glitches steamse runs smooth no jitteres or updates. I decided to run same setup on prepar3dv2 an perfect, prosims update and glitches had stopped although it still is not as smooth as se So it seems that if you run a program outside of fsxse you will find its subject to glitch or jitter. Anyone any ideas? I think it updates to steam for playing online every 4 secs Mike

Hi, I have jetmax 737 setup as well, all I can tell you is the quality and craftmanship is superb, Takes flying to another level. I installed and built mine myself, no problems at all if you follow the instruvtion manual Just look out for the correct size screw , nut bolt etc to fit correctly as there quite a few and they look the same. I must agree with everything overload said, so go just get it, you will not be dissapointed, After all its only money.... All the best Mhazy Mike

Hi I will give you a way you cant fail to get better frame rate, works for anyone, cant fail Ok im being a bit flippant, but I get frame rates of 70 plus all the time how?? I run prosim737 with a jetmax fds setup, so all I use to fly is the scenery for a outside view Aircraft loaded is stock 737 Or in my case jetstream 737 , same thing modified All other programs are on 2nd pc ie instruments etc Ok I know its mega bucks, to do what ive done, and not practical for a lot of people, but running fullscreen with stock aircraft and instruments on 2nd pc gives you the flightsim of your dreams. you can buy software, to run instruments quite cheap, like airmanager, and panel builder. Lets you run instruments for different aircraft, all you need then is a stock aircraft , and just outside view on prepar or fsx etc. You frame rates will be high and very smooth, by the way you can also run the second screen off your pc and still get very good results. At the end of the day if you want a screen with a full vc and complicated aircraft with great visuals outside, then yes you are going to get problems. Mhazy

Hi Ive found a great answer for xplane atc, Pilot2atc runs great, it has loads of extras and you can get a demo to try it for free www.pilot2atc.com I use it in xplane all the time, ifr and vfr And its very realistic Have all the other sims but xplane gives the best smooth frame rates and real feeling of flying Having said that just bought fsx se its nearly as smooth, so im using my fsx addons again All the best Mhazy Ps I am nothing to do with pilot2atc, but it works great with fsx, prepar2, and xplane so thats why I bought it
