Where is the SDK located in FSX SE

Featured Replies

I heard that the SDK is included with Steam. I did not buy the deluxe version of FSX 8 years ago.

Which folder is this located in with STEAM.

Thanks

It is in "\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX\SDK" but there are certain features missing.

I answered your same question in the FSX/FSX:SE forum.

BTW, those "certain features" are the very things that make the SDK work: the export module for GMax and the bloody compilers for aircraft and scenery! 80P

Thanks for the help.

Will the update SDK updates add those certain features back in?

No Randy, DTG is not licensed to distribute the FSX SDK. Period. There is one and only one alternative and that is to download, install and use the P3D v1.4 SDK.

Even that unfortunately only includes the tools for Autodesk's Max product. The "FSX_Gamepack" for GMax is not available in the Prepar3D SDK.
