Just completed my first flight in the Pro version, all working great.

Just one small request. The ambient sounds, starting at approx -20 Min are VERY loud, make it hard to get speech recognised. Occasionally too much noise for the Microphone.

I know I can reduce the volume via the SERV/INT knob, but that reduces the volume of the FO as well.

To have a chance to reduce the volume of these ambient sounds seperately would be great.

Which ambient sounds in particular were you thinking of?

Starts at T+21, runs repetitive over around 18-19 Mins, ends shortly after door close. So I thinks it`s boarding sounds. Almost as loud as the FO voice, does the Dash8 have no cockpit door :-).

No, seriously, the problem is the noise, sometimes too much for my Microphone (high quality Sennheiser headset). Makes it a bit difficult, compared to e.g. Fs2Crew 777 operation.

We're using 3D sound... the volume for the boarding sound should not be loud.

 

Please check your audio setup.

Could you give me an idea what you mean with checking audio setup ?

No matter if I use the standard Laptop speakers or external 5.1 speakers, it`s the same.

Also changing the sound sliders in P3D 3.0 from the default setting (all at 50%) to e.g. voices to 100, environment to 10, does not have any influence.

Forgot to mention, besides the 777 version, I also checked NGX Reboot regarding this. No comparable audio problems at all.

When i release the next Dash 8 update with free button control, I'll lower the sound of the boarding even more.
