You mean the brief "looped"?  How many times did you press the "Play Brief Button"?

 

The FO will use some of the settings selected in the brief at later stages in the flight.

 

That why it's important you at least make the selections on the Brief Panel even you don't want to play (listen) to the brief.

Thank you, it didn't play immediately, the brief, so I probably clicked it 5 times or so, there's my answer I bet.

I bore easily, but, I am quite sure I am going to love this bird and eventually master it, because each time I do something new with it I actually feel a small surge of adrenaline and joy.
