September 15, 200520 yr Hello allI have been looking at the Aerosim Classic liners and would like opinions from simmers who have both packages, Which is your favoriteVol 1 or 2I am leaning towards getting Vol 2 for the DC 10 and Tristar but the 747in Vol 1 looks interesting.
September 15, 200520 yr You can't go wrong with the Aersim packages if your looking for 'NON-Hardcore' but well done FS2k4 models. The stars of each package are the 747's and L1011. The DC10 is decent but could have been better (just the same it's the only full FS2k4 DC10 model in existence right now). I haven't looked at the 727 because I already own the fabulous 'HardCore' DreamFleet model. The DC8 and 737-200 are more on the Perfect Flight level and in my opinion have poor looking VC's. I wish the same effort was put on all models in these packages but the two stars of the bunch (747, L1011) are very well done. I don't really like the seats in the 747 VC because they are way too small. Nevertheless it has a more robust looking VC (forward panel for example) than my favorite and much held FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
September 15, 200520 yr Hello Thanks for the reply, I have gone for Vol 2 for now but if i like thepackage i will probably be back for Vol 1.I must admit that i find some of the recent releases for Fs2004 very well done but too time consuming when i have only a couple of hours to spare, At times like those i prefer to fly less complex aircraft.
September 15, 200520 yr Volume 2 - I haven't tried it but from the video looks worth every penny.Volume 1 - Before you go running to the bank check out DM FlightSim (David Maltby) http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk . There you will find the BAC One-Eleven, DH106 Comet, HS121 Trident and the Vickers VC10 and all freeware. I am still testing each but I find it almost impossible to believe you will find better payware anyware! If you are a VC flyer only the Trident has one. The flight dynamics are excellent. 2D panels for all four impossible to be approved upon. Documentation, loads and very well put together. Sound, custom. Visuals excellent. And the list goes on.The Trident is featured in the September/October issue of PC Pilot in the Downloads Section. They are pretty picky about what makes its way there so .....Andrew Brownhttp://www.gordiusfs.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/:-wave

Any chance that the README file said to place a certain sound gauge in the MAIN FS2004 folder to take care of switch click sounds? I know this will cause a CTD shutdown when hitting "fly now"!
