January 18, 201610 yr I've tried the FSX keys 1 and 7. I've tried dragging the Trim handle. I've tried gently kicking my iMac (while In Bootcamp) I've tried finding the answer with Google. But, so far, with no luck. So now I'm hoping for help from The Oracle. Cliff Harris (In Spain) Cliff Harris
January 18, 201610 yr Check which buttons are assigned to pitch trim in your FSX setting, and set aside two buttons on your stick - preferably within reach of your thumb on your stick-hand - to them. Also, just in case - I don't think you can set stablizer trim on 777 without hydraulics, unlike NGX. Jiang/James Wu FSX/A+SE
January 18, 201610 yr The trim handle on the pedestal is an alternate control system. Not meant for normal operation. Assign the nose up/down trim switches just as you would with any other airliner addon.
January 18, 201610 yr Cliff, the above answers are if your Hydraulic Systems are powered. If they are not, no amount of keystrokes will move them. You may be trying to position them to the proper takeoff setting on the ground. If so power the hydraulic system and use whatever combo you have set up for them. January 19, 201610 yr Commercial Member Cliff, Keep in mind, with the Fly By Wire Architecture in the 777, you may not see a noticeable change in the Trim indicator in flight due to the way the trim operates on the 777. There is a fairly extensive explanation of this in the Introductory section of the manual for the 777 to help you figure out the system.
