January 18, 201610 yr I had a problem with PMDG B777-200 about to store any routes. After complete a route with all data, i go back to rte page1 and choose SAVE route. The fmc response is: route saved with the route name like LIMCLIRF001. The problem is when i try to take a company route in a new fmc load. The answer is: not in data base. What can i do to solve this situation? Many thanks for coop. Roberto
January 18, 201610 yr Check to see where the file has been saved. If it isn't in the 777 sub folder the FMC won't find it when you key the name in as a company route. If it is in the flightplans folder then you can access it using the route request prompt. That will search all sub folders. If you enter the departure airport first it will only list routes starting from there.
January 18, 201610 yr Author many thanks Kevin for your replay. I follow your info but not found nay flghtplan saved in any folder. Now i try to complete a new fltpln but no help. Any time that i try to save a fltpln, the fmc display first: folder- 777 right lsk- confirm. i push exe. and appear the name of fltpln but nothing in any folder. Now i try to load again from PMDG the complete pack. Thanks for your info from a old B767 maintenance man. If you have other suggest, many thanks again. Roberto Roberto
January 18, 201610 yr Roberto, full names in the PMDG forums please. Use Windows Explorer to open the ...\PMDG\FLIGHTPLANS\777 folder. The flightplan that was saved in your first post, LIMCLIRF001, should be there. Say if not found. The PMDG 777 FMS uses filtering when you use the CoRoute feature, which means if the ORIG field is not LIMC then you will not see any plans originating from LIMC. Also, make sure you are running your simulator as administrator. Dan Downs KCRP
February 1, 201610 yr Author After few days out, now i followed the suggest to run B777 as administrator. Now is ok and fly along Italy and more. Thanks again. Roberto PMDG user name: [email protected] Roberto
February 1, 201610 yr PMDG user name: [email protected] Dan Downs meant your real first and last name not your PMDG user ID and email address. Set it up so that is done automatically. Try this - click on your user name in upper right corner, click on My Profile, click on Edit My Profile, click on Signature, in Edit Signature enter your first and last name, click save and your name will be on all of your posts.
