January 21, 201610 yr bosflo, you can use almost anything from FS2004 in Prepar3D v2 and v3. If you download WOAI, point the installer to a dummy folder. After you have installed all the packages downloaded from the WOAI website, use AIFP to convert the flightplans from FS2004 to FSX format (which is essentially the same format used in P3D). Now copy the files from the dummy folder into P3D. There are a few aircraft (2 or 3) that can't be used in either FSX or P3D (can't remeber which at the moment, but I think the Beech 1900 was one of them) since they were made for FS2002 and have som issues. But they can be deleted from your Simobjects/Aircraft folder. Most of the flightplans in the WOAI packages are outdated, but don't worry. For most of the airlines you can find new upodated flightplans in the AVSIM library. Just delet the installed flightplan and replace it with the new you have downloaded. Just make sure you open the new flightplans in AIFP and compile them in FSX format unless you're sure they're allready in FSX format. And remember, turn off the default traffic by renaming the aircraft traffic file in P3D/Scenery/World/Scenery-folder. Just add a new file extensien like OFF or BAK. Ans one last thing. Take the time to download Henrik Nielsens Ship Traffic packages from the AVSIM library. They're fantastic. Then you can rename the ship traffic file in P#D/Scenery/World/Scenery-folder as well. January 21, 201610 yr I've used MyTrafficX for years and Burkhart should be commended for staying on his project. However, UT2 is flexible and does not appear to add as much overhead as the BGL based programs. That's because UT2 has an optimizer built into it that limits the number of AI aircraft within the user's reality bubble, based on a target frame rate. One can achieve the same results with MyT 6 by using the freeware Traffic Optimizer app. The difference in overhead between the two AI apps is negligible.
January 21, 201610 yr Author I have all of the packages from World Of Ai so that's already covered. They are the best and how do I miss them so so much because they aren't around anymore. But I think I am starting an Ai addiction because when I looked at FAIB and UTT, those models and colors look so good that I want more and more. But right now I am only limited to WOAI and payware. I think that creating my own ai to supplement those packages is the way to go. I also have Traffic360 and My Traffic but they are not installed. Now is there an easy guide somewhere, I tried to install a repaint from Avsim to be used by AIFP and can I say just how confusing it was. It seems like it would be easy but it was not. I am sure that once I do it 20 times then I may get the hang of it but I don't know where to start.
