January 20, 201610 yr Hello all, I've noticed that the C90 brakes are way too sensitive! I use a joystick, so when I hit the brake trigger, the aircraft responds with a full sway forward then back. It's rather annoying to be honest. Are there any modifications I can make to either my P3D settings or aircraft that will prevent this from happening? Many thanks. RESPECTFULLY, GREG CALDERIN
January 20, 201610 yr I set sensitivity on my brake pedals down to 25 which makes it manageable. I stick, I'm not sure... Mark
January 20, 201610 yr Author Yea, I don't use pedals. Sounds like I may have to invest in some. It always crosses my mind. RESPECTFULLY, GREG CALDERIN
January 23, 201610 yr Author You can reduce the Toe Brakes value in the aircraft.cfg Thanks for the tip, Bert. RESPECTFULLY, GREG CALDERIN
January 23, 201610 yr Thanks for the tip, Bert. In the A/C cfg, near the bottom is the entry for Toe Brake Scalar. I haven't looked at the C90 GTX cfg, but generally, the number is 1.0. You can lessen the effectiveness of the brakes by changing the number to anything between .01 and .99, as a percentage of effectiveness. Personally, if I was going to change it, I'd start at .85, and adjust from there. It'll take several tries, but you can adjust it to your liking. Hope this helps.
