new King Paint
Thanks!! I liked that paint, but hated that it wasn't a US registration. Seems like that happens to me a lot with Carenado aircraft. The best ones are always foreign to me.

Bought, and paid for! Can't wait!

Those users without the Hawker can now have the F1GTN in the CJ2
I'm definitely interested!

capture of the LOC and GS
I found, as long as I make sure the Nav source matches where I have the ILS freq tuned (Nav 1 versus Nav2), the CJ2 has no trouble intercepting the ILS, or flying the approach. I wonder if that's the trouble people are having, since the Nav Source selection is not intuitive.

N628CB KYKM to KSEZ
Long-haul flight in the CJ2 from Yakima, WA to Sedona, AZ. Cruising at FL410 @404 KTAS with a 39kt tailwind. I took of with 80% fuel, 4 heavy passengers, and a gross weight of 12,396 lbs. No issues getting to altitude, and will have plenty of fuel at destination. Loving this little beauty!

Did an Alpine Edition lookalike - now available in the Avsim Library
I haven't heard any rumors, but I'd pay double for a well-done Citation X. There's been a couple of them done, but both have their own issues. They look like cartoons inside and out.

Missing CDI and not following FMS ?
In the screenie you just posted, your Nav mode is either VOR 1 or VOR 2. If you want to follow the FMS, click the Mode button on the left of the PFD. If FMS/GPS mode is selected, the waypoint data will show up below the wind indicator.

Cessna CJ3 N628CB
I noticed the red shine on the stripes, near the tail, but didn't catch the numbers changing. Still, like you said, it's really close! Carenado did some nice paints. I just wish they had options for N-numbers. I can't think of a Carenado release in a few years that didn't have the really nice paints from other countries.

Cessna CJ3 N628CB
Courtesy of Ray Marshall, I FINALLY have a workable reasonable facsimilie of a plane I've spent many hours riding in. Sure, the real 8CB is a CJ3, but the Carenado CJ2 is VERY close. Ray, thank you so much for your time, effort, energy, and most of all, your love of this hobby! For your time and efforts, your next new Carenado plane is on me. The real deal...

Errors and Building Database
I got those same errors installing the 525 into FSX. After I installed, I updated my Navigraph for Carenado. When I started FSX, I had no trouble with the Citation. It loaded, and the database didn't even pause to load.

CJ2 Paint
That's beautiful, Richard. Clean lines. Very classy!

Many thanks to Ray! This just became my favorite GA plane/paint!

Oh, Ray, that's the best paint I've seen from you! Hook a brother up! Tim

Glideslope intercept
Forgive me for asking a really obvious question, but are you putting the ILS freq in the Nav radio? If you use the FMS to enter an approach, you'll track with LNAV, but it won't intercept the GS. Certainly not trying to insult your intelligence. Simply trying to troubleshoot.

Can the C90GTX panel lighting be modified?
I don't think you can simply adjust brightness or color, without some serious coding and PhotoShop skills. In VC cockpits, the lighting is usually coded with textures for night lighting. You could add a VC light, and tie it to the panel lighting, but over time, I've found that usually causes visual issues with the VC textures.

C90 Brakes
In the A/C cfg, near the bottom is the entry for Toe Brake Scalar. I haven't looked at the C90 GTX cfg, but generally, the number is 1.0. You can lessen the effectiveness of the brakes by changing the number to anything between .01 and .99, as a percentage of effectiveness. Personally, if I was going to change it, I'd start at .85, and adjust from there. It'll take several tries, but you can adjust it to your liking. Hope this helps.

CARENADO C90 GTX KING AIR 1.1 is out
I was in the same boat. If Carenado says they released the upgrade, they replace the installer on their site. I downloaded it, and it is different. Just uninstall the old C90 GTX, and install the new one. No fuss.

Low Oil Pressure warning. Help needed
For once, Carenado seems to have built a real failure into their aircraft. If you overtorque the C90, or run the ITT too high, the engines will quit. When flying this bird, be mindful not to run the engines beyond limits.

Stand by ADI has not power
If you're using a Saitek switch panel, flip your Avionics switch. Or, toggle your avionics using the keyboard. For some reason, this happens to me, and you just have to toggle your avionics, and it'll come on.

FTX KPSP elevation issue
From the OrbX website, KPSP requires FTX Global Base to correct the elevations. https://www.fullterrain.com/product/kpsp Scroll to the bottom.

Master Battery Toggle
You raise a good point, and it applies to anyone using a Saitek Switch Panel. I'm assuming other hardware controls would be similar. Another factor to consider is the Avionics switch. I always start my flights from a Cold & Dark condition. When energizing the Phenom, I have to energize Batteries and Generators with the VC switches, yet the Avionics do not energize without using the hardware switch on my Saitek. This is indicated by the Standby PFD (next to the autopilot) presenting as a blank screen until the Avionics switch is activated. I tested the effect of this by not activating the Avionics as part of a start-up, and found that you can enter a flightplan in the G1000, set an altitude, but not lock on to a VS, or any lateral controls. Basically, the issues many people are reporting with the autopilot can be remedied by toggling the Avionics switch via hardware or keyboard. So, if you are having autopilot issues, look at the Standby PFD next to the autopilot, and make sure you can see the display properly. If not, flip the Avionics switch.

G1000 and Flight Planning
To my understanding, that's just how Carenado coded the G1000. You just have to change the altitudes, if you plan on using the VNAV function.

G1000 and Flight Planning
Yeah, it's pretty cumbersome. Use the outer knob to scroll down to the SID/STAR/Approach, and the inner knob to scroll through the available procedures. If there is a little green arrow on the left or right of the procedure, then there is another you can select. Follow the same procedures to select the various approach/departure fixes. I've never used a real G1000, but my understanding is that the real one is much more user-friendly than Carenado's version.
