Missing CDI and not following FMS ?

Featured Replies

Hi Folks,

All defaults...

I believe I have the flight plan entered correctly and it displays on the PFD - however - there is no CDI and it will not engage NAV mode to follow the FMS flight plan...

Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong...

In the screenie you just posted, your Nav mode is either VOR 1 or VOR 2. If you want to follow the FMS, click the Mode button on the left of the PFD. If FMS/GPS mode is selected, the waypoint data will show up below the wind indicator.

The PRESET is a screwy setup. It is what will be next not what you have selected. Whatever is shown in green above the PRESET is what is active. I can't really help much with the FMS, I fell in with the GTN huggers and don't plan to go back to the hunt and peck and living among the lost pages with the FMS. The plane flies good, it just needs something better to direct it.
