February 9, 201610 yr Jeff - Thanks for the comment! I created that "what if" livery many years ago when I used to "virtually" haul the Packers to/from their away games. Normally they use Delta's 753's, occasionally on long hauls they use 763's & once this year they used a 764. I guess it's up to what's available. When they used the 764 this year I used FlightAware to estimate arrival time and set the alarm for 3 in the morning to see it. Never seen one, it was massive as it flew over the house! When I created that livery I was so undecided on font type that on the left side is the "newer" stretch font & on the right, the "older" block style. Liberties were taken on the engines & the radome cover.... Well, that is a NC classic, black with panel lines. Eamonn - Yes it is.. She's been in mothballs for quite a while! ~ 1.5 years! It showed in my flight too! Had a difficult time to get her to follow the climbout profile I requested, eventually got it though. Then on approach was all my fault, hence the go around. Set it up for a 5 mile initial which left me behind the aircraft, no way to get her down & overflew the runway. Planning to take her back up today for another refresher... Fingers crossed.
