Displays are blank and switches don't work

I read the read me files and installed all the .msi files as instructed. I uninstalled it and reinstalled the latest version then reinstalled my FSX SE but I still can't get it to work. It is very frustrating as I am a 777 captain and I like to practice a few NPAs on a computer before I do my recurrent sim.

On a separate note I muched preferred the old 2D panels as they are easier to manage while practising approaches. Overall is quite realistic but I think the 3D cockpit and difficulty installing it are huge barriers to its potential.

Welcome to the forum, please note that PMDG requires full names on all posts.

Reinstalling software usually causes more problems than fixes.  Did the product request a validation key and any point after the first installation?

Difficulty installing what? We provided multiple built in VC views for you. Additionally mouse+space bar makes it easy to look around. Don't let old habits get in the way of progress. As a staunch 2D supporter in the past, I can somewhat see where you're coming from, but once you get used to it, you won't look back.
