Shimmering Cloud levels on Mountains?

Featured Replies

I wonder if this is an ASN thing - but - whenever I fly over mountains (e.g. the Alps) I get a shimmering/reflection/anomoly at the point where the cloud meets the mountainside. Is anyone else seeing this and - more importantly - is there a solution?

You see it all the time no matter what weather program.  Where cloud touches land=Fog and FSX has a

tough time dealing with it, hence the shimmering effect.

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

Regards,

You can raise the cloud level in ASN above the mountains if it bothers you.
