September 28, 200520 yr What scenery file in flight sim do afcad files go in? I put one in the scenery file in the addon scenery and it didn't seem to change anything so I must have put it in the wrong place. Thanks in advanceDon
September 28, 200520 yr I always put my new AFCAD2's in FS 9addon sceneryscenery. Seems to work there ok.KP
September 28, 200520 yr Hi,Go to the main FS startup screen (press Esc if flying and End Flight) and go to Settings/Scenery Library. Make sure that the Addon Scenery area has a red checkmark next to it. If not, check it, click OK, and restart FS.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page

September 29, 200520 yr When you say nothing changed - what were you expecting? Most AFCAD files will not make any visual changes in the world you see in flight sim. They will add parking and an invisible taxi network for AI aircraft - and the user aircraft. You can add aprons, taxiways and runways with AFCAD - you cannot add jetways to airport buildings / terminals. AFCAD cannot be used to add buildings or delete them.
September 29, 200520 yr Okay I will try that. I have had NO experience with afcad files that is probably why I am having trouble. Thanks Don
September 29, 200520 yr Okay I got it working. My first couple of attemts raised the water level and one of my airports was under water. It is now raised and located where it should be and everything is ok. Thanks guys for your help.Don
