VFR flights in the Rockies?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys .... and can anyone recommend some scenic (FTX) flights in the Rockies?

Regards,

Stupidly expensive rig, nonplussed Memsahib, disinterested offspring and a fascinated cat as Rio.  XP11, P3Dv3 and an Oculus Rift.

Hi David.

Have you had a look through the Orbx flight plans section?

http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/forum/42-flight-plans/?page=1

Thanks for that Nathan. Duh!!  I have used orbx for upwards of two years now and it never crossed my mind to actually visit their Forums.....   Hey Ho! Live and learn.

David,

I know the guys who run Misty Moorings have always been held in high regards, and it depends on your flight sim but their website is full of great information,

ORBX continues to make the rockies of all of NA a place of unlimited VFR adventures. From Alaska to the tip of Southern California the scenery offered is amazing. Add Tongass  Fjords form FSAddons Publishing and Return to Misty Moorings and you have more flying than you could do in a lifetime. Explore the FTX / ORBX current and upcoming offerings and follow the forum and you won't go wrong.

Appreciate the info paddler .... The UK is beautiful - but small. EGNL (my home), is the gateway to the English Lake District National Park.... but not a patch on the Rockies. I will try your suggestions and, if I never come back, it will ALL be your fault! lol :help:

Regards.
