I have FSX and the pmdg 737-800 and was wondering what I need to do to use the weather radar on this aircraft.  Thanks

Active Sky Next is required - this is to make the radar display the weather accurately and not act as just a cloud detector, but precipitation.

 

Also, I know it sounds really stupid for me to have to say this, but remember to press the "WXR" button on the EFIS!

 

(trust me, some posts I've seen - people had no idea the WXR button existed...) 

Also make sure you don't have an outdated version of the PMDG NGX. Use your Operations Center to verify your version is current, we are now at 1.10.6461
