Question re 21:9 aspect w/ WQHD resolution

Recommended Posts

Anyone who's used 3440x1440 if they could comment on how P3D looks w/ this aspect ratio.   Is there panel distortion, or problems?  I'm used to 16:10, 1920x1200 24" Dell and slightly intrigued by Samsung's 34" WQHD curved display.

I'm using a Dell U3415W - basically the same as that Samsung.

I use Wide Aspect View - with a zoom of .60 and everything looks fantastic.

Go for it!

I use the same monitor as Gordon with a .80 zoom and looks great. The only issue is when you display a 2D panel it opens it a 21:9 aspect ratio and you have to resize it.

I really like the width. I am currently running a GTX 970 and I think that I'm going to have to upgrade to a GTX 980i. Not sure if the 970 can handle all those pixels.
