April 19, 201610 yr Hi Just starting out with this aircraft after spending many hours in the PMDG NGX737 AS Airbus' & Majestic Dash8 Using P3D V3 and the cockpit lettering of dials seem a tad 'blurry' and nothing like this: http://www.avsim.com/topic/487159-what-am-i-missing-without-the-gtn-mod/page-3 I have MiMap on & res 1920x1080 plus texture resolution on high... Is there anything I am missing? Any help greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance  Russ Bailey EGJB

April 19, 201610 yr How about a close up view, even closer that my image posted above. PC specs Graphics card. Do other addons look the same? Regards, Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
April 20, 201610 yr the cockpit lettering of dials seem a tad 'blurry' and nothing like this Hi Russ If your referring to my pic i posted your looking at 4K 5120x2880 resolution, i`m not using any nvidia inspector and my settings inside P3d are 8x and 16x for AA, it`s all GPU power from my GTX980ti. So there is no tweak to achieve it just default P3d settings. Edit: I`m also using Sweetfx shader for extra color depth. Cheers.
April 20, 201610 yr Author Thanks for the replies again, all very much appreciated. Looks like it may be the monitor if you have a 4K 5120 x 2880 then my 1920 x 1080 'aint going to get close  Off to buy a new monitor! Cheers and thanks again  Russ Bailey EGJB
April 20, 201610 yr Looks like it may be the monitor if you have a 4K 5120 x 2880 then my 1920 x 1080 'aint going to get close Off to buy a new monitor! My monitor is not that big Russ!! I`m running Nvidia DSR settings that expands your native resolution to 5120 x 2880, my monitor is 27 inch with a native resolution the same as yours, have you tried the DSR option yet in the Nvidia control panel.? http://www.geforce.com/hardware/technology/dsr/technology Its simple to setup, you keep your desktop resolution at native 1920 x 1080 and run P3d at what ever resolution you want, and you will need to choose wide view and blackout desktop and autofill settings like mine, only draw back is the writing for menus is very small but just press alt/enter and it will switch to normal size.
April 20, 201610 yr Author Wow, all very helpful and I hadnt even thought about DSR! Will try later and report back. Thanks once again! Russ Bailey EGJB
