LatinVFR's KSAN (San Diego) is a work of art...the airport and surrounding sq.miles

Featured Replies

Here's just a few initial at KASN.

If there ever was a marriage made in heaven...it would be

Departure:  ORBX Palm Springs

Arrival: LatinVFR KSAN

That...is, if you are willing to open up your sim, in the graphics department, and see what is there...

With my Carenado G.A. aircraft, I am keeping at 17-33 FPS depending on my viewpoint.  Totally acceptable for animation and control.

Please also note the full overcast sky at the time the shots were grabbed...and still I generate no less than 17 as the bottom of the range.  Totally acceptable performance, for all graphics at 100 percent.  The downtown buildings are beautiful to behold, as is most every other element of their scenery.  I am now a bona-fide LatinVFR patron, and will look forward to anything they plan in the future.

I hope they are reading this...you folks deserve the praise. At every airport and area I have purchased to date..I have been amazed at the beauty, and detail of your object elements, and exactly...the word...DETAIL that has gone into each product.  You folks are A1 PRIME!

Hey Angelo...

I've decided to take my first peek at John Wayne KSNA, by flying there from San Diego...with ORBX Southern California in between. Should be a very scenic flight! ;)  That will beat just plunking down somewhere upon the airport...lol :hi:

Thanks for the head's up...I'm going to keep LatinVFR  active, on my radar screen....

Hi  Folks,

RE: Personal NOTAM;

Just wanted to say that normally I have always shown FPS readouts in all my uploads.  I thought that this would help a viewer with regard to system and sim demand, when viewing the elements on the screen in from of them.

...well, since my having adopted P3D v3.2.3 as my main M.S.-based sim platform, and having discovered with use of it, that FPS generation, pretty much no longer dictates if you get a smooth and stutter free flight experience.  I have gone as low (amazingly...) as 11 FPS in a huge and black clouded thunderstorm into CYYZ, and yet..perfect control...smooth and jerk free right down to the landing zone..which proved to myself...that the FPS reading is pretty much superfluous...post adoption, P3D v3.2.3.

So, any further screen grabs, will be for the sake of the scene, and not the 'scene' and at 'this' FPS reading.  That is being retired with P3D v3.2.3.

Here's to change! :)))))

Amen!  Even put in the famous Tustin blimp hangars that are AWOL in default and most other add on scenery for the area!  They are an important visual cue for KSNA.
