Moving multiple entries in scenery.cfg?

Featured Replies

Hi. I'm looking for a program that will allow me to move multiple entries at once in the scenery.cfg file. The built-in scenery library, as you know, only allows you to select one entry, then click "move down" about 100 times, then select the next entry you want to move, click 101 times on move down etc. This gets very tiresome when you want to move 20 entries several steps up or down. It quickly adds up to thousands of clicks. For example, recently I wanted to move all "aerial photo" entries above Ultimate Terrain. Also, each Megascenery area contains multiple entries (sometimes 20 or more), and sometimes you want to move them above or below some other addon scenery. So, I want to:-Click-drag or CTRL+click to select the entries I want to move-Click a button and all selected items are moved up or downI've tried a few programs. One called SceneryAlign which required manually editing a .ini file, which would take just as long as manually moving the entries. Another called FS Scenery Manager which was just too confusing and messy to use and I'm not even sure it can do what I want. Any suggetions?

HelloMy favorite tool for working with the Scenery.cfg isFilename: scm2004.zipLicense: FreewareAdded: 29th March 2004Downloads: 2070Author: Hans HartmannSize: 357kbGreat little tool , you can do multiple selection and drag them up and down.Renumber the entries and add and delete new scenery. It can also cut sections of the scenery.cfg out and save them as sets which is good for eliminating crashes caused by scenery files.
