Well, somehow two of my default FSX airports got corrupted.  FACT and KSEA.  Seems all the buildings are gone in both sceneries.  Is there a way to fix this WITHOUT reinstalling FSX?  I have over $1000 of add-ons and dont want to have to reinstall all of them.  Thanx!

The airport buildings, terminals and hangars are tied to your Scenery Complexity slider. Is that slider set to Normal or higher?

 

Are you using any additional scneries or Vector prodcuts for either area?

Complexity is cranked all the way up.  I have a quite powerful computer.  I think somehow the files that control those 2 default airports became corrupted and FSX wont read them anymore.  Like I said I don't want to have to reinstall everything.

Before thinking about any reinstall, you may want to consider a REPAIR instead.  This will repair any corrupted files

 

and will not affect any addons.  You should do a save of the FSX.cfg beforehand and uninstall Acceleration/Sp1-Sp2.

 

Any changes to default aircraft will be returned to default status.  Sure beats reinstalling everything.

 

Have you tried installing updated versions of those 2 airports.  I know there are updated scenery files

 

for KSEA.  FACT- I would have to look around for that one.

Ok, so I've tried installing an add-on scenery and all the building are still missing.  The jetways are there but the buildings are not.  Sounds like I'm issing some objects from my default setup.
