I have followed the OP in the manual and it seems it uses the same key for hard/soft mute which seems contradictory because the manual later points it out for the 'sec' panel.  Main panel works fine and so does everything else work as advertised but for the confounding Sec panel hot key combination to assign to a controller button

 

Help appreciated.

The SEC panel is opened by press the SEC button on the FS2Crew main panel.

 

 

Which page in the manual are you referring to with regards to the hotkey for the SEC panel?

 

I recall the key assignment you can use if desired to open the SEC panel is WATER RUDDER, which, fyi, I'll be removing in 2.1.

And what will be the replacement key?

I don't think there will be a replacement key.

 

We're running out of available suitable FS commands to use.

I use FSUIPCs Panel ID Toggle option to toggle the 2 FS2Crew panels on and off.  Works great.
