The new Grumman Mallard by Milton Shupe & team – a most wonderful freeware addon for our flight sim experience! This is surely one of the all-time greats, which means it is what we can expect from Milton: absolutely state-of-the-art and then some! Available for FS9 and FSX. A turboprop version is in the works.

 

 

Everything is right about this plane. The level of detail in this model is awesome! And she flies great too.

 

 

Just look at those big radials. And they sound great too! And the prop discs are perfect! Also take note of the exterior windows ... the reflection, the window frame. This level of attention to detail has been lavished on all aspects of this lovely plane.

 

 

The virtual cockpit is absolutely superb, and  there is a fully modelled interior as well.

 

 

That hull has a really complex shape, but it's beautifully curvy. The pilots are animated (of course).

 

 

What a nice shape. Many beautiful, crisp paints included! I'll post some more screenshots later showing all the liveries included. I'm sure we'll see plenty of repaints for this bird!

Very nice!

I saw the Red Bull Mallard at Oshkosh a few years ago.

It's surprising how large this aircraft actually is.
