I think I should have more than 0 FPS Landing at YSSY. Any help would be much appreciated.

 

How can you land with 0 frames? Wouldn't you be just stuck in the air somewhere? 

Seriously, ditch that AMD CPU. And what video card?

I am beginning to wonder if myself or anyone will finally release information on the best prosessor for our flight sim hobby. I have 0 FPS landing at Sydney Kingsford Smith and settings mid to low. I have an AMD FX 8350 Processor 8 Core running 4ghz, Gigabyte Tech 990FXA-UD3 motherboard, 16GB DDR3 Ram running at 2209.7mhz. x2 Samsung SSDs 500GB each. Windows 10. have Steve DX 1O fixer and ORBX Global + Vector, Australia SP5, Traffic 360. all the usual Tweaks also. I think I should have more than 0 FPS Landing at YSSY. Any help would be much appreciated. :smile:

 

Let me know how the 10 Core I7 beast handles P3D?

So... 0 frames per second, that's ZERO!  So basically your PC is locked up, frozen, in a state of suspended animation???  :smile: I think you jest my good sir.

Hi Mike, how is your progress with the 6950X setup?

 

I have build a similar system and been experimenting since 2 months with it.

my previous watercooled system (3970X) at 4.9 GIG was already performing great and showing me al the best out of P3d v3 

But since i am expanding my Pit with 2 more HD beamers there was a need for another Pc.

 

After installing ORBX and various scenery,s i started with my new setup.

In the beginning i wasn,t very optimistic because it was quite an ordeal to get the configuration set up nicely

but now many many hours later i must say i am very pleased about it.

Running at 30 fps everything is smooth as silk and never experienced better views with scenery,s pretty much set to max

unleashed it goes >120 fps on 1 HD Beamer but then i experience micro stutters in dense area,s 

 

If someone build a similar system i would be very pleased to here from them and their experience.
