Which jet to get? cj2 or 850xp?

Recommended Posts

I think the main question is:  What kind of airplane would you rather fly?

...personally I prefer the CJ2 with the GTN750 and the improvements done to the Autopilot etc. by Bert and the MOD squad.

It seems to be more controllable and doesn't  ' flake out ' as bad as the Hawker....  it is great for small airports and is pleasant to fly.

I do like the Hawker but I don't think there is as good a MOD done to it by the team....  unless I don't have the latest MOD release and I'm missing out on something.

If Carenado fixed the DTO function in the original CJ2 FMS and made it capable of saving and loading FlightPlans I would use it without the GTN750 and it would be adequate for Vatsim flying etc...

I haven't noticed any issues with frame rates ....

CJ2 pips it for me.....  exactly as @aerostar said.  The mods make the AP more stable and predictable than that in the Hawker.. for me.
