June 24, 20169 yr Interesting read. They certainly seem to know where they want to take the sim in the future. The question is going to be whether they can pull it off. Sims like FSX, P3D and X-Plane were developed over many years to get to where they are now. These guys are almost starting from scratch both in terms of technology and add-on developer relations. ATC and especially AI traffic is going to be the big one for me. It makes a huge difference when you can see other aircraft flying around and hearing them talk on the radio. I don't want to feel like I'm the last pilot on earth. They also have to add more ground scenery such as OSM data, animated traffic etc. to make the world feel less barren. They have nice scenery textures, but there isn't much else going on. -
