July 7, 20169 yr Author Moderator I think I have the answer to my question. Windows Update KB3173040 once installed gives you the option of "Do not notify me again" after install and reboot. The other 10 adverts may continue to want to install every couple of months but I'll see what transpires. Ray (Cheshire, England).
