UK2000 Exeter with some AS16 + REX experiments

Featured Replies

Quick heli and Q400 flights around Exeter.

Very FPS friendly but I seem to be missing some scenery options that are enabled in the config panel?

Cheers, Rob.

EDIT: was experimenting with AS16 + REX ... think I prefer AS16 + ASCA full dynamic mode ... for now.  Maybe when REX release their 3D Force product in the future ... but neither have the sky textures I'm looking for (I'm CA based and nothing matching CA type of sky yet).

Very good Rob,  Thanks for posting,  Love the sound of the Q400

Dash 8 taxi with one engine running here Rob.

You sure - this is exeter?

Looks like they do at Schiphol after landing ... long taxi?

Cheers, Rob.

Sorry, my fault ... after installing the latest UK 2000 common libraries I had assumed they would be enabled in my scenery library, looks like I must have disabled the entry at some earlier date.

Here ya go, much better with all the supporting airport elements:

I really enjoyed the night layout, but unfortunately ShadowPlay at 4K does a terrible job with night recording as there is too much compression leaving a strange "banding/gradient" problem in the recording ... shame, because it looks so much better "live in sim".

This video was AS16 + ACSA.

Cheers, Rob.

Nice to see my local airport getting some attention.
