August 3, 20169 yr I have read on some posts about the High TAT is related to ASN. Can anybody confirm this? I have now twice tried taking off in my pmdg 737 and the TAT is +33c. I can't climb. I got up to FL180 but only 178 knots. Can anybody help. I have the most up to ate service pack. Josh Scholl
August 5, 20169 yr Commercial Member Hi Josh, RAM RISE at 280KTAS is approximately 10C. +23C temps at 12K during middle of summer in hotter areas is not unheard of. Not sure where or when you experienced this but it might be completely normal and you might need to accept lower climb rates. If you have specific data that you think is in error, please let us know and we can investigate. Suggest a support ticket at http://support.hifitechinc.com Thanks. No have seen that myself +33 celcius at fl200 - is one that I remember, but had also noticed loss of thrust (without noting temperature) at fl310+. Used to have this when FSX's own weather would come up with stupid temperatures. Will keep an eye on it and report back when I have it occur again......
