It’s the Simien Mountains Nat. Park, to be more precise. A few days ago I watched a documentary on TV that covered much of it and I couldn’t believe, how beautiful it was. The park was established only in 1969 and already in 1978 declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Naturally I wanted to check this place out in the sim and although we don’t have yet Open LC Africa, I was keen to see how it looked in P3D. My companion for this trip was my trusted Do-27 from Digital Aviation. I have ORBX Global, Vector and FS Global Ultimate installed.

We took off from a small, unpaved airstrip east of the park

Bernd, this is one of the place I would like to travel to in real world. I have seen many pictures from this area (my former boss once worked at Addis Abeba University), and I think it is a very good rendition of this great landscape in the sim; perhaps there are a little too many trees there.
