I know Heathrow really well but I'm looking to take my son to see some arrivals/departures.

Where is the best place to park and view?

Hi Paul,

 

Not a spotter myself but I see everyone parked up at Hatton Cross railway station if the approaches are coming from the East (over London)

 

And if they're coming from the West, then people park at various points on Stanwell-Moor Road. I think if you park on the actual perimeter roads you'll get moved on swiftly by Plod, it's all double yellow lines IIRC

 

Lotta roadworks going on at Hatton Cross currently as well
