FSX default Background Sound

Featured Replies

Hey!

I want to know from which sound file the default background sound on Apron comes in FSX? I have made a video so that you can hear what I talk about:

You have to turn up the volume I think because on youtube it is much more silent than on my PC.

I want to change either the volume of the file to something more silent or I create a complete new background soundfile... but I couldnt find it in FSX so far.

Thanks for any help!

Never mind, I have found it in -- Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Simobjects\GroundVehicles\FuelTruck\soundai -- there are 4 wav files. As I removed it for a test the sound was gone.

Now I will see what I can do.

Yep, fuel truck and they never shut off their engines.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

I advised my mechanics to mount some extra exhausts on the fuel trucks, now I can hear it only a bit in Background :-)
