Remove GTN750 from aircraft?

Featured Replies

Hi-

I'm trying to remove the GTN750 from an aircraft.

Open interface, select AC, deselect GTN750. Enter, Exit

Won't remove itself. Also tried manually by renaming panel.cfg.f1 to panel.cfg but the software just recreates another entry.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mark

Would help to know which aircraft? Did YOU install the GTN or was it pre configured? Look in the panel folder, see if there are different panel.cfg files - locate the one without the GTN and change the setting in the aircraft, cfg fileto point to that panel.

Need more info.....

Hi Vic-

It's the XtremeLabs Lear 25.

This was added thru the F1 configurator. I want to remove it and add the code to add it too the panel (which I have).

There is a panel.cfg.f1  and the original panel.cfg in the Lear panel folder. The f1 panel file is the original. Deleting the panel.cfg, renaming panel.cfg.f1 to panel.cfg doesn't fix it. The flight1 configurator just resets the whole thing as mentioned above.

It has to somehow be removed at the configurator level. I would thing this functionality would have been built into this program.

Cheers,

Mark

I've never had that happen with the configurator. Might be best to post on the GTN support forum. I'm guessing there's an additional cfg or ini file somewhere.

If you swap/rename the panel.cfg files, you should be done.

Do not run the configurator afterwards
