Are they compatible with the emergency part of reboot? As far as I know only Aussie voice was possible for emergency.

If you want to use Failures, you must use the Aussie FO.

 

The recordings and timings for the Non Normals are very, very complex, and we can only use 1 voice set for that due the timing issues.

 

So you can still use the 7 new FOs.  You just won't get any Failure recordings.
