Scared pilots?

Featured Replies

Started getting back into the Q400 after a hiatus (the current patch seems to have made this bird less twitchy and better to fly) and had forgotten how scared the pilots get during turbulent conditions. If that represented real world actions, I would be really worried as a pax!

I went into the .ini file and changed the turbulence factor to .5 instead of .75 and they calmed down a bit. :)  Not sure how this relates to the real world, but my pilots were doing the hands on the head constantly and it just didn't seem right.

They respond to any major G acceleration, which can also be caused by slew and heavy landings. I think I reduced the turbulence factor in my ini a bit as the Q400 did seem too jiggly (no idea what the pilots were doing, when it gets bouncy I'm too busy in the cockpit)!
