October 7, 20169 yr Most likely I think the transition to a 64-bit environment will be a rather slow process that will span over a long period of time until we have what we have today but in a 64-bit environment so I'm sure there will be plenty of time to save up some money I see it that way too. Nothing wrong with what we have now other than OOM frustrations. So happy to spread the new financial burden over a year or more.
October 7, 20169 yr ^ Like I said, any thread that mentions VAS and OOMs is a "64 bit thread". The funny thing about this particular thread is that it is a discussion of how some supposed code change in P3d is costing users a couple of hundred VAS. That just goes to show you how precarious the memory management is in P3d. Oh those demanding 3rd party airports and tubeliners!
