I like to try it out, would be more immersive I think, but in the livingroom I would be frowned upon.

I would suggest a compromise. Get your wife to record some cabin announcements. So that she can report to the flight deck that "Pre-taxi check is complete and escape slides in position". etc etc. Also say after 40plus minutes of cruise she can ask if anyone on the flight deck would like some refreshments. :smile:

Hah - my wife actually prefers it - now she doesn't need to listen to the roar of my Garrett turbofans that tended to shake the entire hours - as I've moved to a headset...

I only fly cargo, so no stewardesses available.

And even when I should suggest it, she would turn of the power and tell me I have now time to fetch it myself.. hahaha
