spot view - perspective is off

Featured Replies

OK, so overnight my spot view is now off.

It looks like I'm viewing things in a wide angle lens, the perspective is off and the image bends when I get close..

Anyone know how/why that happened? How do I fix it?

also if I go into locked spot view then it's normal... go figure

Sometimes flight sim just does it's own thing.

I installed some sceneries last night and a few freeware and 1 payware aircraft this morning. I noticed it this morning.

any ideas?

thanks

Ciao!

Zoom in (probably the = key) and track out (probably CTRL+). Don't know why it would have changed but perhaps your new aircraft changed the defaults for the spot view.

WideViewAspect=True

Make sure it's in your P3D.cfg

No, that would increase the wide angle effect.

Anyway you would not set WideViewAspect based on spot view.
