Yes as the above post from mukiwa, i used the same KB's from Microsoft comuunity under topic Windows 7 update solution.

Can confirm it does fix the infamous freeze. 

 

Had the infamous freeze on my boxed gold edition. Swapped to SE, no more issues and better performance.
