December 4, 20169 yr It's not really a tweak, but a cfg setting that defaults to being active. It should only be turned off (that's the "tweak") if one is experiencing either performance issues or OOMs. It's probably not available in the UI for good reason.

Are there any negatives to using it? Thanks! Hi, according to my experience, it's better to have this set to zero (OPTIMIZE_PARTS=0) to lower the VAS consumption in case you're using P3Dv3.4. Some people said that with the setting to Zero they've experienced lower FPS numbers. The conclusion is that you should test it (=1 or =0) to see which setting work best for you, depending on your system and your P3D version.
