Horribly corrupted FSX Scenery

Recommended Posts

So I recently got my computer back after several weeks of not using it, and when I booted up my first flight this month, the scenery was horribly corrupted. I have no idea what is causing this as it was fine several weeks ago. What could be wrong?

Looks like a dark PMDG aircraft panel and no gauges showing.  Open up the PMDG OPS Center and see if it sees an issue.  You probably lost your activation if the techs who serviced your computer reinstalled Windows (which would have wiped out your registry when you activated it the first time.

Best regards,

Jim

Yes, that was the PMDG 737. But the issue was more than that... My scenery.cfg file was corrupted so I deleted it along with my FSX.cfg. Works fine now.

That's the number one fix for most problems with FSX/P3D.  Glad you got it figured out.

Best regards,

Jim
