I have no idea why and how this happens

 

Quite honestly - and I'm being very clear and blunt here, but it's the truth - the ONLY reason you'll find a HOSTS file with a redirect to localhost for our address is that someone has, or has at some point, installed some sort of software attempting to sidestep our activation process for nefarious reasons.

 

The HOSTS file doesn't just modify itself like that, and there's no way we'd mod the file to do that.

 

I'm not going to go any further down that inferred line, but let it be known...

Yes Kyle, I did think the same, but last time i saw it was my friends comp, that I installed with windows myself and then sim. Few days later he was trying to go buy NGx, but could not reach your page. Well... hell knows. Mby his fingers "slipped", ya know.
