December 28, 20169 yr Painting this livery by request of an FS9 simmer who's been converting my FSX textures to FS9 for that community to enjoy. Pulling out of KSFO's United maint facility.... On departure....Flightbeam's excellent KSFO scenery in the background. The iconic Golden Gate in the background, along with Alcatraz. Again, but this time with the tail in the shot to preview the detail. jpeg compression really beat these screenshots up...she looks much nicer in the sim. Of course, I know you're completely capable of making the conversion yourself, or even painting her if you mood hits you. :wink: I have to admit that I was never a fan of this livery, and would have never repainted it if it weren't by request that I invited a fellow simmer to make as he's helped me...but its kind'a growing on me the more I look at it (you tend to stare at your paints as you're painting them, LOL) I'm not a fan of the painted pylons though....something that always puzzled me about UAL paints. I still have to paint them, but so uncommon is it that the paintkit doesn't separate all the details into layers for them, so I have to do some custom work.
