December 11, 200520 yr I notice they are selling a Beech18 with Martha's Vinyard. Is this a freeware Beech? I'm pretty sure that MV is a new product but to me (and by all means it could be just me) the plane looks like Miltons with new gauges.LINK>>> http://forum.aerosoft-shop.com/viewtopic.php?t=5728The reason I ask is they have a Beaver and Victoria package for sale. Sure the Beaver is a great plane (that I own and love) but the Victoria scenery is Holger's that you can find right here on Avsim for free.LINK>>>http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/ca/ibosh...wd80!0,,FS02239If I'm wrong I'm prepared to be put in my place.XP Home SP2Asus P4P800-SE Intel 3.0GHZDDR 400 D/C 4x512MBLeadtek 6800GT 256MB (77.72)SB AudigyCH Products Yoke/Pedals USBSee you in the fence...CYYZ Al Stiff
December 11, 200520 yr Author Definitely not Miltons Beech 18. First, he didnt do a float version (wish he had!). Second, the antennae are different. The interior cockpit shots look different too.Eric AND
December 11, 200520 yr Yes, the Beech 18 is a completely new aircraft. I was fortunate enough to be a beta tester for them with the 18.
December 11, 200520 yr Author I studied the screenshots with great interest. Both the beaver and the Beech 18 look very nice. For some reason, they look slightly cartoonish to me. No idea why. maybe its just the pictures. The Beaver is one airplane I wish Carenado would do. I think they and Dreamfleet do the most amazing airplanes of anybody doing GA work.Eric AND
December 11, 200520 yr I've been awaiting the release of this product. I've tried 2 freeware versions, and while the exteriors are very, very nice, the virtual cockpits have left me looking for more.I just wish Aerosoft would release the B18 without MV too as I tend to do most of my virtual flying in Alaska.Cheers!Paul

I agree, a Carenado beaver would be outstanding! If the 206 floatplane version does well, maybe they will consider it.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International Best, Michael KDFW
