If I am on final they can ping me all they want. I'll contact them at the first high speed turn off

What is worse is when you get the contact me message during take off roll!!

Or when tower gives you taxi instructions when you have 2 seconds previously touched down. Normally over excited 13 year old twr controllers

 

Or how 20 years down the line vatsim still think there's the world's most powerful and waterproof hf / vhf receiver floating somewhere at 30w in the mid atlantic that you can talk to pilots on.

 

Still keeps the guys happy flying on nat tracks from 2 years ago at the time of day when tracks arnt valid
